The national Cycling for Change team officially began their journey this past weekend in Cape Flattery, Washington.  It has been a grueling few days, fighting the weather, but he team has persevered and are changing lives with every mile they pedal.  Jason Christensen, the CEO of Catholic Charities is posting daily on our Facebook page – Cycling for Change – Independence from Poverty Ride Colorado Springs, and blogging almost daily at http://cyclingforchange.wordpress.com.

Very soon, we will have a picture gallery linked to our C4C page on this website with pictures of Jason’s ride.  We are also updating details on the local Freedom from Poverty events, scheduled for July 8 at America the Beautiful Park,  so please check back often for new information on the national ride, as well as our local Freedom from Poverty events.
